CAPS Projects @ NetFutures 2016!

The European Commission will have a CAPS concertation meeting, as a pre-conference session at NetFutures 2016, on 20th April. This meeting feature presentations by CHEST and IA4SI. It will focus on current CAPS results and analyse key questions, such as:

  • What impact can we have? How can social innovation offer civil society and grass-root communities real measurable benefits, given the right business models and the support of shared data platforms?

The CAPS concertation meeting will be held in the River Room at The Egg, Rue Bara (near Gare du Midi), Brussels. CAPS concertation meeting agenda:

NetFutures 2016 is a key EC event that is focused on maximizing the competitiveness of the European technology industry. The event includes an annual conference gathering over 1000 attendees and an exhibition. Speakers from the EC include Andrus Ansip, Günther H. Oettinger and Mario Campolargo.

The EC’s Net Innovation Unit and the CAPS projects will have a showcase session that includes booths from CHEST, MAZI and other CAPS projects in the exhibition. The afternoon will also have a CAPS social innovation policy roundtable.
